Belajar Dasar Grammar Bahasa Inggris

Mari kita belajar bersama yuk tentang grammer Bahasa Inggris.
Apasih gramar itu grammar Jeffrey Coghill and Stacy Magendanz, dua orang pendiri Perpustakaan dan Kampus McNeese State University di Lake Charles, Los Angeles (2003:xvi) mendefinisikan grammar sebagai berikut:
"the grammar of a language is the set of rules that govern its structure. Grammar determines how words are arranged to form meaningful unit."

Artinya :

"Grammar sebuah bahasa adalah satu kumpulan aturan yang menata bagian sesunannya. Grammar menentukan bagaimana kata-kata disusun dalam membentuk unit-unit bahasa yang bermakna."

Mari kita bahas dasar - dasar grammar 

1. Present Tense ( Menyatakan saat ini ) 

I/ You/ We/ They + Verb1 + Object/ Complement
-> They play football everyday


He/ She/ It + Verb1 (+ s/es) + Object/ Complement
-> John plays football everyday

2. Present Continous Tense ( Menyatakan telah selesai atau sedang berlangsung )

I/ You/ We/ They/ He/ She/ It + To be (is/am/are) + V1 (Ing) + Object/ Complement
-> They are playing football now
-> He is playing football now

3. Present Perfect Tense ( Menyatakan Sudah Berakhir atau Selesai )

I / You / we / They + have + Verb3 + Object/ Complement
-> They have played football this week


He / She / It / + has + Verb3 + Object/ Complement
-> He has played football this week

4. Present Perfect Continous Tense ( Menyatakan telah sedang berlangsung )

I / You / We / They + have + been + Verb1 + Ing + Object/ Complement
-> We have been playing football this morning

He / She / It / + has + been + Verb1 + Ing + Object/ Complement
-> He has been playing football this morning

5. Present Future Tense ( Meyatakan Belum terjadi / akan terjadi yang akan datang ) 


I/ You/ We/ They/ He/ She/ It + will/shall + Verb1 + Object/ Complement
-> We will play football next week

6. Present Future Continous Tense ( Menyatakan suatu peristiwa atau perbuatan yang akan sedang berlangsung diwaktu tertentu di masa yang akan datang )

I/ You/ We/ They/ He/ She/ It + will/shall + be + Verb1 + Ing + Object/ Complement
-> They will be playing football at this time tomorrow


7. Present Future Perfect Tense ( mengungkapkan bahwa suatu aktivitas akan sudah selesai pada suatu titik waktu di masa depan )

I/ You/ We/ They/ He/ She/ It + will/shall + have + Verb3 + Object/ Complement
-> They will have played football next Saturday

8. Present Perfect Continous Tense ( Menyatakan bentuk waktu sekarang selesai dan berlangsung ) 

I/ You/ We/ They/ He/ She/ It + will/shall + have + been + Verb1 + Ing + Object/ Complement
-> They will have been playing football this June

9. Past Tense ( Menyatakan peristiwa yang telah lampau ) 

I/ You/ We/ They/ He/ She/ It + Verb2 + Object/ Complement
-> We played football two weeks ago


10. Past Continous Tense ( Menyatakan yang sedang terjadi dan tetap berlangsung di masa yang akan datang )


We/ They + were + verb1 + Ing + Object/ Complement
-> They were playing football yesterday

I / He / She / It + was + Verb1 + Ing + Object/ Complement
-> He was playing football yesterday
